Schroth Best Practice is an updated and improved version of the original Schroth method, designed to manage scoliosis and kyphosis in people of all ages and severity levels. Created by Dr. Hans-Rudolf Weiss, it simplifies and modernizes the original approach to make treatment more efficient and effective for today’s busy patients, while still delivering excellent results.

Our approach, based on the German immersion training model, is designed for long, focused sessions to teach Schroth breathing techniques more effectively. This method allows for better learning, fewer mistakes, and quicker results, as patients can practice, ask questions, and repeat exercises in a shorter amount of time.
We also tailor our program to fit the specific lifestyles and daily activities of our Asian patients, incorporating strategies that help correct posture during everyday tasks. This makes the new posture easier to internalize and use naturally. By practicing self-correction, patients can prevent the curve from worsening by avoiding movements that could worsen the condition. A key technique we use is the side-shift, which realigns the spine and has been proven effective in managing scoliosis.

Every patient receives personalized 1-on-1 attention. Your treatment starts with an examination, where our team creates a tailored treatment plan. Programs typically range from 12 hours (for mild curves, kyphosis, post-surgical, or juvenile cases) to 17 hours (for moderate to severe curves).

If a brace is needed, we offer fitting for the Gensingen brace, which is compatible with Schroth treatment. We also provide the Kyphologic brace for thoracic kyphosis and the Physiologic brace for adult thoracolumbar/lumbar kyphosis.
